@Erinmn I know too many who fall through the cracks, and can't get adequate care because the American medical establishment is a capitalist, for profit business, and if you can't pay, you can't receive adequate medical care. I'm sure other countries have their problems with socialized medicine, but our country is in dire need of it. No system is without it's problems, but a socialized system doesn't have to replace what we have, but it would enhance the quality of it.

@Erinmn I believe in what JFK said. However, there has to be SOME give and take. I love my country, and the principals it was founded upon. I don't love my current government, and the bureaucratic bullshit and red tape they make people go through just to fucking survive. Whilst I agree, people who can work should work, and people who can care for themselves should, there ARE people who, for whatever reason, cannot, and the government SHOULD see about those people.
