Having seen highly regarded animes in the likes of Bleach, Evangelion, Fushigi Yuugi, Ayashi No Ceres, Infinite Ryvius, Fafner, Vampire Knight, Utawarerumono, My Hime, Martian Successor Nadesico, Melancholy of Haruhi, Romeo x Juliet, Elemental Gelade, etc... I can definitely say without reserve this is ONE OF THE BEST ANIMES EVER.

Great song... the anime is severely underrated and over criticized.

The growing romance and relationship between JIN and TOA was simply amazing, ONE OF THE BEST EVER. Very comparable to what I saw in both ROMEO X JULIET and ELEMENTAL GELADE. The overall story is definitely not original, but the idea of dragons as an alien race and space mech units is undoubtedly unique.

Overall, Dragonaut is a poor man`s Elemental Gelade, very entertaining from start to finish.
