  • nope, a tax cut has never, NEVER resulted in creating a job. there is no documented case of a rich person or corporation getting a tax cut and resulting in more hiring.

  • blow jobs

  • Gotta say, this is just what went through my mind yesterday after being cut off by a cell-phone-dealmaking pigfucker in a Cadillac Escalade.

Shit rolls downhill, though...I think many of the bastards figure that at worst, their fat goes into the fire only after many many others go first (and with lots of 'creative destruction' in between to turn a fast buck from).

Alas...It's not a judgement that would seem to be historically too bad a bet. Why god made Pinkertons & bulletproof glass.

  • the dollar is tanking thanks to wall street banks

  • He's right about the urgency to move on to the job issue. Unemployment (& all of its surrounding economic difficulties) will be the single most decisive factor in the 2010 election. With the country in no mood for more of the same from corrupt dipshit politicians, incumbents of both parties will be threatened from both sides.

  • Move dramtically and quickly?

Isn't that what the stimulus package in February was about?

  • You have to love all the money spent, and jobs created, in districts that don't exist. That's a hell of a CHANGE.

HOPE in one then, BUSH in the other.

  • See, you lying Paultard troll asshole?

Kata expresses a long-established conventionally "progressive" take on this completely discredited "trickle-down" fantasy, of which yr comment is a typically faith-based & unconvincing variation.

You got a point of view? Great. Let it rip.

But don't sink to the lame--and extremely badly played--douchebaggery of pretending to be a progressive. Free market, righty-libertarian dogma isn't "progressive". Not by a country mile.

  • Durbin should be the Senate Majority Leader, not Harry Reid.

  • its about fucking time...
