A Nick Jonas Love Story: Did I Tell You I'm Sorry (Chapter 1, Part 1)

Wait, I'm way ahead of myself. Let me take you back and explain everything.

Me- Genie!!!!! Hurry up! Pinkberry closes in 30 minutes!
Genie- Seriously Aurora, chill out. We have plenty of time

I groan, this was just like Genie. She was always waiting till the last minute. I hate being late and she's the master at cutting it close. She finally comes down the stairs looking as magnificent as usual. Her dark brown curly hair bouncing as she flew down the stairs as fast as she could, with her purple converse and her black skinny jeans still in her hands.

Genie- Ok, I'm ready!
I giggle and say- You sure you're not forgetting something, like, i don't know, to put your pants on!
Genie- Oh right!
She turns around and runs back upstairs and I groan once more
Genie- Lighten up, buttercup!
Me- You're not funny
Genie giggles and comes back down with her pants on this time
Genie- NOW I'm ready
Me- Bout time
I stick my tongue out and she giggles

We get to Pinkberry, our absolute favorite place to talk and hang, and order our usual. Vanilla for me with fruity pebbles on top and chocolate with a dollop of peanut butter on top for Genie. We sit in our usual both in the back corner and start chatting our heads off.

Genie- I can't wait till the tickets go on sale!
Me- I know! Me neither! I want to see them SOOOOOOOO bad
Genie- Ya, sorry we couldn't go to the last concert.
Me- It's ok Boo. It's not like you were the one who wanted your Grandpa to die
Genie- Ya, that was my mom
She giggled but I could see the tears she was holding back, in her eyes. Genie had a way of holding back her true feelings and keeping a positive attitude. Which, is just absolutely amazing about her cause she is super sensitive. And easy crier, they call it.
Me- Ya, so what would you do if Joe made eye contact with you
Genie- I'd wink very awkwardly and lick my lips
I start cracking up and am trying to say something when my mouth drops open and my eyes grow huge.
Genie turns around and whispers- Oh my word
