How-to guide: http://bit.ly/i9GiZ2

A lot of people who have been trying to get around the "gsc.wildcat" dependency error in Cydia (when trying to install FullForce for iPad) just can't figure out how. So after a little bit of experimenting, I was able to easily get passed this roadblock.

  • i followed all the way into "springboard.app" directory but there is no k48ap.plist

    what should i do?

  • @w4s17 If you're on an iPad, then K48AP.plist is definitely inside of the SpringBoard.app folder.

  • @gumballtech if is not there what should i do?

  • @stefbcrich If you're on an iPad 1, then it has to be there. If you're on an iPad 2, then it'll be something like K9[number]AP.plist. You shouldn't be having this error if on an iPad 2 anyway.

  • why not just SSH? this is a waste of time

  • @formulanerd SSH sucks. Slow, battery drainer, inconvenient...

  • @thedigitalson Open the plist with the text editor instead of the property list editor.

  • nevermind,!! installed nano and edited through SSH ;) cheers!

  • I do not see the same screen as in your video. when I open the .plist, I see capabilities and iconState "dictionaries"..... What do you do from there?
