I think you mean Lincoln Place, not Lincoln Street. I was born and raised on Lincoln Place in an 8 family limestone that my grandparents owned and which they sold in 1962 for $2,700. We moved to Carroll St. & 6th Ave; moved to Staten Island when I got married in 1973. We called the area South Brooklyn; the Yuppies called it Park Slope.

You must either be under 10 years old, crazy, or just lying. This neighborhood has become a cesspool. Pull your head out of your ass.

I've lived in Park Slope my entire life, and I wouldn't change a thing about it.
Frumpy urban hiking tapered jeans yuppies?
Check.
Young yuppie couple?
Check.
Couple of token 'ethnic' people?
Check.
Power-walking yuppie w/ vapid grin?
Check.
Well amyjo517, I must commend you. You have made an accurate depiction of life on 7th Avenue in Park Slope. Good for you.

I live in Park Slope, up on PPW. People are fucking weird around here to be honest but it is a pretty neighborhood and very nice park when no crowded. I think I can live being an outcast coz I will never wear crocks and sweat pants with a big peruvian hat to take my son to the park because after spending the past years in Williamsburg and seeing what is going on THERE, anything will do. You wanna see real yuppies? Go to Williamsburg! That's where the nest is
