Nathan explains why legalizing industrial hemp is a good idea that should have been implemented long ago.

  • @nkofron - I know you posted this a year ago, but I'd be interested in that paper you wrote.

  • This is not THEIR country

    This is OUR country

The USA is a foreign corporation , We are the Inhabitants They can't make it unlawful ,Only illegal . BIG DIFFERENCE

Learn your rights please for OUR OWN SAKE

  • an acre of hemp is more reliable. more plants per acre, and fast growing times, about four months. also hemp grown for fiber require no pesticides or herbicides for lesser impact on our enviroment. trees take a while to grow. if you do the math ( which i suck at) then you will see hemp is a much more reliable resource. it can also be used to make over 25000 different products, including biomass fuel, which will cut our dependency on foreign oil, therefore saving the economy in one foul swoop.

  • pot and hemp are two different plants. marijuana is grown for its flowers and bred for high THC content. hemp is grown for fiber and seed. also, it is legal to grow in 9 states, but Mr. DEA is an asshole and an idiot. i wrote a class paper about industrial hemp, if you want a copy i'll give you one.

  • Just out of curiosity how does an acre of hemp compare to an acre of renewable tree farm in paper production?

  • Great video! Couldn't agree more!

The illegalization of industrial hemp really, really makes my brain hurt...the point of the War on Drugs is to prevent recreational use of psychoactive drugs, and the trafficking and importing of same.

INDUSTRIAL HEMP IS NOT RECREATIONAL MARIJUANA. NO ONE IS USING IT TO GET HIGH.

They're the same plant? But they're NOT THE SAME THING.

It makes about as much sense as saying, "Corn is a kind of plant, like cannabis! IT should be illegal too!"
