  • you are stupid right?

  • yeah i agree, the cherry sun burst looks cheap. This darker one looks alot better.

  • Maybe PRS is finally starting to listen to the customer. BTW in 2 weeks it will be officially a 1 year wait for my goldtop...How crazy is that? I'm happy you got a good one. I have a McCarty 'burst CU22 and its beautiful.

  • All Teardrops are not the same!!! I just bought a Burst, non-ten top, that is a McCarty Burst!!! The edges are a perfect light brown. REALLY reminds me of the best from the late '50's!! I'll be posting a few things soon.

  • Black does look cool with the natural maple binding. I did order a goldtop btw, hopefully my wait isnt too much longer (its been long...) The 'bursts have such an abrubt change from dark to light, where it should be more subtle and better blended - plus the dark horns...ugh! Thats a shame, because PRS could have really hit this one out of the park with better 'bursts and better reponse time to orders (I've been waiting 9 months...)

  • I bought an all-black one. I agree the bad teardrop paint job sucks. Go for a goldtop in homage to the original DG McCarty trem model.

  • The prototype sunburst DGT in the video looks a lot better than the "teardrop" 'burst showing up in stores. I wish they'd switch back to the 'burst that David is playing...after all, it is his guitar, isnt it? The dark horns on the one's hitting the street don't look good to me, but to each his own, I guess... The tone is the almighty thing anyway- and this guitar does have the tone, playability and quality.

  • Grissom, you're #1 man!
