This is a video of myself and my American Pit Bull Terrier Helena. APBT's are a naturally athletic breed of dog with very strong jaw power. Contrary to a popular myth Pit Bulls jaws DO NOT LOCK. Above all the breed was meant to be a medium sized ranging from 30 to 60lbs often females being smaller. According to the breed standards of the ADBA and the UKC do not have a height mentioned but most range from 17 in to 22 inches being on the taller side. If breeders are breeding for head size, chest width, color, short and wide, dogs weighing 80 to 100 plus lbs are not true to type APBT's and they should not be considered as such these dogs are called American Bullies, Razors Edge, Gotti Line, Guard Dog lines, are well known American Bully lines. Most people who own these type dogs still refer to them as "pit bulls" Beware kennels that don't breed for health, conformation, athleticism, and most of all TEMPERAMENT. This breed was never meant to guard or be human aggressive. In fact they were bred to be extremely human friendly.

Helena ranges from 40 to 45lbs in fit condition she looked fat at nearly 50lbs when my boyf started feeding her "extra" without my permission. haha I got her back in shape.

first off you have a beautiful dog. I don't care for your title much because my boy is razors edge and he's not a fat sloppy piece of shit like some that I have seen. he is a a ukc rgistered american pitbull terrier and is very athletic. and for you title my dog hangs way better. you have a beautiful dog but you shouldn't hate on anothers dog simply because of bloodline.

Actually under AKC American Staffordshire Terrier is a rebadged bonafied pit bull. The UKC , ADBA, and AADR register pit bulls under American Pit Bull Terriers.

The American Staffordshire Terrier IS the APBT, even though some say they arent the same. The entire breeding stock for the AST came from UKC's APBT. People say they have been bred separately for long enough to be called a different breed.... But they are just breeding APBT's with APBT's, and no matter how long you have been doing that, the outcome is still an APBT.

Razors edge is still some fake name. The man who created the bloodline even admitted to adding bulldogs and/or mastiffs to the bloodline to get thicker bone density.

If your dog isnt big and short, then he's probably not a razors edge. The breeder probably just said they were Razors edge to sell them.

Either way if your dog is Razors edge or not I wouldnt walk around telling everyone he is. Anyone who knows anything about the APBT will think your an idiot who bought into some BYB's crap.
