After the country exploited them, then their father exploited them. I feel so sorry for those children. The real life Diaonnes were such beautiful little girls.

i always wanted to know the name of this movie....last and only time ive watched it was 1995 when i was five.....loved it since then although i was afraid to go anywhere without my mom cause i thought since my brothers and sisters there was five of us people would come and take us away too........lol so thanks

I think you did a wonderful job of capturing the fragility of the emotional lure of this event in Canadian history. The song is ''Nearer My God To Thee,'' is it not? It reminds me of my other special interest, the Titanic.
