OK fair enough, 20 years is as long as I've been alive, so I havent quite reached that passion, but yes I was devastated when he left, but I also feel that he is almost an ambassador for the Italian game. Many people have now begun writing off italian teams in all competitions, and feel the Premiership is better than Serie A. So if he is a big hit at 30, then the kudos will also translate to Milan, as I see it. Which is a large part of the reason why I wish him well..

BB I've been a die hard Milan fan before for over 20 years so I know everything that goes on,also when you bleed red and Black you also feel some sense of betrayal like so many of us Milanisti.He also went to Chelsea and kissed that shit shirt which was also a bit of a kick i tne teeth as I saw it.

he left because of his wife (which is a bit ridiculous I know) but it doesnt make him a "mercenary"! A typical mercenary would go to a bigger club, you cant get bigger than Milan, so he obv had personal reasons, maybe his wife made him sleep on the sofa, until he left! Also braptcrap the problems Milan have had this season were because of Sheva leaving, a host of injuries (9 players at one stage i think) and the calciopoli, next yr we'll be back.
