Congressman Sestak at Health Care Town Hall in Philadelphia
Question 1: Tort reform
tort reform cost is 1-4% of current costs. everyone deserves their day in court. Sestak has an answer as alternative tort reform, but it isn't quite clear.
Question 2: I read the bill and 2/3 of it refers to other parts of legal code so no one knows what it means. what is to stop employers from dropping their current plans and moving to the public option?
Sestak says employers must stay with their current however individuals can choose to move to an other plan that is part of the exchange including the public option.
