At Northminster Presbyterian Church, we celebrate Christmas in a special way when we make "Christingles." What is a Christingle? Well. . . The round orange represents the world. The candle represents the light of Christ that shines. The tin foil reflects the light - just as we are called to be the light of the world. The red ribbon reminds us of Christ's love for the world. The candies represent the four seasons and all of God's blessings. The cloves represent the four hooves of the donkey that carried Jesus. When children make Christingles, they learn about the love of God in a fun and unique way. This video was taken on Christingle Sunday, December 18, 2011.
