I was hoping for a little bit more education as to the lingo for different procedures. Eg how do I actually tell the guy it's not a good idea to thin my hair, how do I ask for layers, how do I say "I need a trim," how do I say "bangs/fringe", etc.

:( I'm a pretty good speaker of Japanese, so I'm looking to enhance my fluency as much as possible.
