I haven't read what this song is about, but to me this is a song about saying goodbye. " By the Way" is my favorite album by the Chili's. I had enjoyed the tunes I'd been hearing in the later 90's and on one of the rare occasions I actually had some cash saved for the sole purpose of getting CD's, I got this album and I was hooked. Something about their songs speaks to my spirit. Started getting the earlier albums and enjoyed the evolution of the Chili's music.
