I have loved this song for years. It was nice to sing the english lyrics with the song. This song has my soul.

Dumb lyrics, cute song at the time but only in French...the original. This version sucks!

Köszönöm, hogy feltöltötted! Egy gyerekkori élmény kapcsolódik ehhez a dalhoz! A középső bátyám miközben a metélt tésztát ette, ennek a dalnak ritmusára szedte fel a tésztát a villára, és közben az első sorát énekelte. Ettől nagyanyánk mindíg mérgesd lett, a mai napig sem tudjuk miért? De még a délutáni iskolába menet, a bátyám még az ablakból beénekelte az első sort! Ez körülbelül 1966-1967-ben történt.

Great song!!! Needs a fiddle & a steel guitar & either Alan Jackson's or Toby Keith's lead guitar. 5,000 sstars for the video.

I loved it when I was young and was very happy to hear it again. Thank you, so much. I have no idea, what's it called, but you did a wonderful job, with the "cue cards".
I knew the song was about ST. Dominick but that was it. Thanks for the translation!

Thank you very much, it has been about 50 years I have loved this song, not knowing the words. I was so sorry when it was taken off the air back then, I understand the lack of reverence for the Lord when they were dancing to this tune. Today I wrote down the words, the words are as great as the music. I have had that tune in my head for several days, so I check it out and here are the words - again - thank you very much. I am James Elmer :-)

@jameselmer77 ... you are quite welcome ... i didn't use a proper program to record the record(45rpm), so the sound isn't very good
