The Faces of Modern Day Saints in the Roman Catholic Church. Photographs and pictures of saints, beati, and holy people of the past 200 years; most are actual photographs. Includes St. Gemma Galgani, St. Bernadette, St. Maria Goretti, St. John Neumann, Padre Pio, Edith Stein, St. Peter Julian Eymard, St. Frances Cabrini, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. John Bosco, St. Dominic Savio, and many, many more. The Saints aren't just about ancient history, but were living, breathing people just like us. They each struggled with challenges and difficulties of their own time and place, but each have experiences and make choices that are relevant to us today. This is a great introduction to some modern saints, and will certainly challenge us with examples of holiness in the modern world.

Atheist friends, it is not the objective of Christ and His Church to force you into submission or to fight any sort of intellectual and scientific developments; rather, it is our objective to bring you the Good News of the Love of God. It is then your decision how to react to it. We are not surprised as to why there is much hatred and contempt against us; after all, our own God was mocked, abandoned, and killed by the people He loved, and what He did was work for their salvation, not damnation.

Miracles still happen today, i have experienced them firsthand, remove the veil from over your eyes and see that there is a God who rules the universe.

even if you don't believe in religious stuff, most of the people on this list are undeniable heroes.

For example, St. Maximilian Kolbe was sent to Auschwitz for resisting Nazi propaganda. Once at the camp he continued to forgo rations for the sake of his fellow inmates, inspire them, and occasionally save lives.

Any secular person who can't find a reason to respect these sorts of deeds might be genuinely evil.

Lovely video. Mother Teresa is not yet canonized, however. She is a Blessed, I think.
