Tribute to John Denver - "John's Song" (Ron Matthews)

John's Song (The Song Will Never Die) is my tribute to John Denver-- his songs, his life, and the ideals and causes he represented. I wrote it in the month following his death in October of 1997. I hope as you listen it will remind you of what a great singer/songwriter and humanitarian we lost that day.

Ron this a great tribute to John!!! Your song speaks for me as well. I've heard John says that he writes song that everyone wants to write...that is what you have done here! Keep up the great work. I just had to give this song a second listen!

Ron, your words so eloquently reflect what I feel in my heart for John. I've always told people that a very large part of who I am is because of John Denver. Dear Ron, What an incredibly beautiful memorial tribute to John Denver. You found so many beautiful pictures to capture the lyrics of the music.
