the battery time on this pc is shit thou. i only get 2 hours at max and the performance with windows vista installed is no better then the Asus EEE pc's and then i think the Asus Eee 1000 is much better, it runs on xp, more battery time and a better processor.

It completely depends on the model you buy. There are some SKUs that have DVD-RW, some with Blu-ray, some with none.
