yeah welcome to like 10 years ago............

that "51 hits" can be like 80 depending on how you connect it.

  • guy keeps saying OH MAN

  • HOLY SHIT, DID I JUST SEE A 51 HIT COMBO?

  • hope your not talking about the match thats going on.

people need to understand: These players are leaps and bounds better than at least 99% of the people posting on youtube alone. And doing the classical internet argument "Well, my theory is x because the players we're watching are doing the same thing. looks too easy"

Professionals make it look easy. Even if it looks like repetitions. If using a certain move at a certain time maximizes your chances of winning, why would you not use it?

  • nothing wrong there but when im playing for big money you can bet ill take the easiest road than the harder road. and their are reasons those characters are at the top and its not because they were voted most popular.

  • How many people have you seen play Sagat in high ranked player games and STILL spam the crap out of cross over shorts and stand/crouching fierces? Its certainly STALE, and as predicable as it may be, its fairly unlikely that you will be able to do much 75%. Predictability does not preclude useability. Try not using standing hard kick with Cammy and see how well you do.

  • I play to win with characters I find cool. Sometimes they are better characters(Balrog, Dudley) sometimes not so good(Adon, Jam)

  • repetition breeds staleness, and predictability, even with mixups. Eventually, when figured out the tried and true will become obsolete, until it comes full circle and what is new is the old.

  • Not especially. SNK games are often, so rediculous, that even if you find that "Added advantage" the randomness of the game in general overrides it. Repeatable patterns are certainly more prevalent in SNK games, but tend to be far more technically demanding.
