Filmed in Villages, near Kampala, Uganda.

Sometimes, a hug is all that we need. The sole mission of this worldwide free hugs campaign is to reach out and hug a stranger to brighten up their lives.
In this age of social disconnectivity and lack of human contact, the effects of the Free Hugs campaign have become phenomenal.
This campaign is a symbol of human hope. This campaign is a witness to the true spirit of humanity coming together in what can only be described as awe inspiring.
In the Spirit of the free hugs campaign, PASS THIS TO A FRIEND and HUG A STRANGER!
You do not need permission. This is the peoples movement, this is *your* movement. With nothing but your bare hands you can make THE difference.
Give those who matter a chance to feel loved with just a simple gift.....
Even half way across the world you can still Love as much as some cannot think possible.

Some of those hugs are so touching, like the one with the lady at the end wearing the striped, horizontal, red and white shirt. And the one where he hugs the baby being carried on the woman's back.

i dont think they speak english in uganda so they probably dont know what free hugs means

@FoShoYo008 There were actually more fluent English speakers in Uganda then there were in other countries I have been to. But for those who weren't, there was a free hugs translation on the opposite side.
