Fans of both need to take heed that this mini movie is not connected to any event in any novel. I am not trying to simulate anything. Being a fan of both, I must make sacrifices to make it work. If said character would or would not do anything in this situation is moot and is not up to debate. This is an artist vision of what I saw when making this in my minds eye to make the song go and work with the story line . Nothing more and nothing less. Please refrain from ripping your elric novels from the shelf and thumbing throw them to look for items to flame the movie with. Just enjoy the show. Peace
