@TheGoalSetter I will be happy to explain if u tell any such beliefs (in Sikhism) which otherwise can`t possibly true ! Bcos as much I learnt Sikhism there s no such things as just beliefs... its totally scientific approach.

@jamb0x well said bro. We all have limitations in understanding and some people are more limited than others. India did not win its independance through violence, neither did South Africa remove the shackles of oppression through violence. There was no violent uprising that ended the slave trade. Yet i am not against the practice of martial traditions with the express intent of defence. Buddhism was wiped out from NW India partly because it it did not defend itself against aggressive incursions

Like all religions, Sikhism sounds great until you get to the details, then you see you have to belief in things that can't possibly be true.
Still, Sikhism has more wise beliefs than most religions...including practicing martial arts. The fact is: predator humans will always rape/kill/destroy/enslave weak humans. And the Sikh's know that there are still many predator humans out there...so they stay strong and keep up their fighting skills.

@WORLDARYANREVIVAL Thanks for the reply, there always two sides that makes one, darkness cannot exist without light, darkness in itself is nothing, it is the result of less light, be that light upon to yourself. Don't justify your decisions merely on what happens on this planet, there is more out there in the universe, but one this for sure is that there always will be violence and love in the world, there mybe less of one or more of another but never violence only or love only.

Sikhism became a martial religion in the later period to protect the communities from the atrocities of the muslim Mugal rulers, especially Aurangzeb.
