Me playing the SHOWtune from SHOWboat! ** Please visit: www.albertaprigliano.net. CD's/downloads available!! ** Sorry, sheet music not available as all arrangements are my own. My style comes from a Juilliard education & 40 years of professional playing.
I've watched and listened to your performance many times over the past year, I've come back to this again- a year later, to post another comment.
You are a talented man, and you play this wonderful old song, from that all time classic of musicals, Show Boat, with heart, as it should be played.
Can't thank you enough. Wish I lived in the apartment or house next door- I'd have the windows open, the radio down, and a glass of red (or a joint) in hand.
Nice. Very nice. A classic tune, from the days when songs were poetry. Not noise.
And you play beautifully- with obvious love for what you are playing.
I know there are many long years of practice involved- its obvious you have a gift. I'm envious, and, having absolutely no musical talent other than an appreciation of fine music well played, I'm in awe.
Sentimental? You bet- but that humans are capable of such musical creations and performances gives me hope. Thanks so much for this
My, how I loved that. So much great music from Showboat. I now realize that your name Jewelyard is a hint as to your musical training. You are sensational. Thanks for this beautiful piece of music.
