We arrive in Singapore. Where nocturnal humans sex it out in our hostel, where interesting people take us around, and where we have a night safari.
This is my almost real-time almost-no-budget 365 Day Journey in China, leading up to the Beijing 2008 Olympics. I am a film student from the world's best film school - The University of Southern California, School of Cinema and Television in the United States.
This is a...
A multi-episode series over the course of a year...of students abroad...of crazy experiences...about life...and about China's journey into the future...I made this just for fun...also as a fond tribute of my memories in the last year of college (2007-2008).
Saying something directly like "singapore is china" is vastly different from saying two seperate things "china" and "singapore". The viewer simply connected those two on his own.
Your racial comment is a result of direct association. My video does not make that direct association. It merely has two seperate elements juxtaposed. Everything else is human imagination.

Understandable. The comment was based on an assumption of two different elements. The first one being the name of the series "365daysinchina" and the location we visited, being singapore. Seeing China and seeing Singapore in the same video doesn't mean that the message is one in the same. That connection was made based on the user's intuition and assumption to connect the two to create a point of argument.

365 days in china is merely the name of the series, which was the concentration of the first season. This is the second season, meant to show south east asia. No misunderstanding intended.
