I suggest you listen to the radio 4 program on Placebo which stated that pacemakers that were not turned on for three months had a positive clinical effect in patients which amazed the doctors who put them in. Also that Sham accupuncture was much more powerful on irritable Bowel syndrome than ANY DRUG EVER USED for this! Just think what money could be saved if we all used Placebo a bit more
