  • How did you wire the coax to it wat two points do you conect wire to? Thanks

  • @CCSinventions this antenna was a quick made a few days before holliadays...it just a simple dipole..mass to one element, center conductor to the other....in this case the signal is not ballanced, better make a 1/1 balun, so signal is ballanced...

  • look at the video responce beneed...better antenna..

  • hi everyone!!i wanna run a 10 meter radio in a apt bldg and i'm on the 16th floor, and using a wilson magnet mount, but have no balcony to set it.can this be used inside alone, with a good ground?like to hear some feedback for sure...thks....newf128

  • @rae1213ca Hi, your wilson wil probably be a cb antenna. So if you want to use it for 10meter you will need to adjust it for this band. (or shorten it,or tune it with appropriate antenna-tuner). Second it is possible to operate inside, though i would not recommand it..

  • This looks like it's tuned for 20 meters, not 10/11. Have you measured this incorrectly?

  • @scott231us i don't know how you come to this deduction...It's a halfwave dipole with a 1:1 balun, aproximatively 5,5meters long..Here tuned on a cb-band..with a cb swr meter, and a ranger 2950..operating here on cb channels..For your info, i used my MFJ259B antenna analyzer to check all my antenna constructions.. It never lies..

    :-)
