Leah --- uh Nick...im gonna have to call you back [hangs up]

Nick -- Leah! Stop doing that!

Lilly -- [walks in] mommy?

Nick -- [puts the phone behind his back]

Lilly -- where is she?

Nick -- im not sure

Lilly -- oh.....can we go to Addis house?

Nick -- sure, but you need to get dressed first

Lilly -- kay [goes upstairs]

Nick -- [goes into the kitchen]

Joe -- [spelling "Victory" out in cereal]

Nick -- wow Joe

Joe -- can you tell her to stop taking my stuff!

Kevin -- she just wants attention

Joe -- then she should bug you and Nick

Nick -- we already give her attention, your the one who doesnt

Lilly -- [comes in] ready daddy

Kevin -- where are you guys going?

Nick -- [picks up Lilly] were going to Addis

Joe -- ask her if she can come over tonight, i dont have anyone

Lilly -- she could have a sleepover

Joe -- i love it when girls sleepover

Kevin -- you kno Emmas never going to like you like this

Lilly -- Emma and Joey sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N ----

Nick -- [covers her mouth] well see you guys later [goes to Addis house]

Addi -- [opens the door, starts to close the door]

Nick -- wait

Addi -- what?

Nick -- can we come in?

Addi -- no

Nick -- come on Addi! You cant say no to the baby

Lilly -- [smiles innocently]

Addi -- thats cheating

Nick -- no its not [walks in]

Lilly -- do you have any dolls here?

Addi -- there might be some upstairs

Lilly -- kay lets go [grabs Addis hand, starts going upstairs]

Nick -- Hope i need to talk to Addi

Lilly -- fine [goes upstairs]

Addi -- i dont want to talk to you

Nick -- im really sorry Addi

Addi -- i got your texts, and your messages, and emails and -----

Nick -- so can you forgive me?

Addi -- i guess

Nick -- good [hugs her]

Addi -- your coming to school tmrw right?

Nick -- theres school tmrw?

Addi -- yeah

Nick -- i forgot

Addi -- but its a Wednesday, and you havent come in so long

Nick -- i have a daughter Addi!

Addi -- do you really think having a mom who ran off, and a dad who dropped out of school is good for her?

Nick -- okay ill go tmrw

Addi -- good.....so how was the thing with Leah

Nick -- well we talked....and kissed

Addi -- wheres she staying?

Nick -- no idea

WITH JOE

Joe -- [watching tv]

Emma -- [comes in] hi Joe

Joe -- hi Em

Emma -- [sits next to him] is Nick here?

Joe -- you want Nick? Whats wrong with me?

Emma -- well ive been working down at the high school for a couple days...just office stuff and the secretary asked that i get this to Nick [hands him an envelope]

Joe -- what is it?

Emma -- i donno

Joe -- [starts opening it]

Emma -- Joe! Its for Nick not you!

Joe -- fine....so why do you have so many jobs

Emma -- cuz i have to do this funny thing called paying rent

Joe -- right

Emma -- not everyones parents leave them a mansion to live in

Joe -- i kno..i just forgot that you have your own apartment

Emma -- so why are you working now?

Joe -- what do you mean

Emma -- well its not like you need the money

Joe -- its just for um....work experience

Emma -- well i think that its good for you to have a job....you shouldnt rely on other peoples money all the time

LATER

Nick -- [sitting on the couch with Lilly]

Lilly -- [watching cartoons]

Nick -- [tries to grab the remote]

Lilly -- [holds it tight] this is my tv time!

Nick -- no your tv time ended 20 minutes ago

Lilly -- please daddy, i like this show

Nick -- fine [the door bell rings, goes over to the door, opens it]

Leah -- hi Nick

Nick -- [goes outside, closes the door] what are you doing here?!

Leah -- i came to see Lillian

Nick -- well you cant see Lillian, i already told you!

Leah -- but thats not fair!

Nick -- yeah well ----Leah what happened? [touches a cut on her neck]

Leah -- [zips her jacket up so its covering her neck] nothing

Nick -- is someone hurting you?
