Can someone please help me!! I bought this mixer a while ago and tomorrow I'm supposed to be recording my band's demo. The problem is whenever I try and record my electric guitar cab at a decent volume, I get TONS of clipping (crackling at excess volume) and the recorded volume in the computer is actually wayyy too low. I can't figure out how to record at a decent volume without the clipping and have the volume loud enough when it comes through my speakers on the computer. Any help at all please

I only experienced this for the first time last month and we found it was too powerful for the mixer. We either had to have it on extremely low or set it up acoustically.

Though maybe reducing the power through the guitar, getting maybe a higher quality cable (another issue we have found, higher quality cables and equipment works a treat). Otherwise, I'm still learning - so unsure.

I use it for radio and broadcasting not for music production. All channels have never been a problem, just ensuring you have quality mics and lead feeds.

However - the help desk are EXTREMELY helpful and give some good advice. When I was setting it up they spent quite a few hours with me and were able to resolve many issues. Might be best contacting them first before purchase.

As for recording into different tracks simultaneously - again, I cannot comment - purely a radio man!

Can´t say - we haven´t used Logic 8 with it. but we will be broadcasting for the first time live across the internet via wireless connection next Tuesday. So I will know more then.

But recording live performances work really realy well - I LOVE this mixer!

I have same problem, with wery low recording volume.

Do you fix that? And how?

Can somebody explain me how can the effect bus signal be send to REC OUT? It seems impossible to record by USB using digital effects...

Can the WHOLE MIXER Used into the Recording Program through the USB ?

I am trying to figure out whether I will buy one for home studio with a Band + have a good mixer for PA system w/t Effects

Is this unit able to Perform live AND recording quality sound into the mac ,Using LOGIC 8 , with it USB ? ,I have been researching and I can't make up mind ?
