  • Hey!!! Was that a usb port and card reader on the front right of the dvd player? Maybe it wasn't that useless after all :\

  • I'll go and see if it can be hooked up to a computer. But I think it can't. Thanks for the hint!

  • Hey man...what r u doin??? Lol.....but hey, u´re right! THAT´s modern art...tho i have to say....i somehow really feel for that dvd....*g*

  • It has an USB port and a card reader. I tried playing JPG files off a SD card, but it didn't worked... another fail! :)

  • Well, well...

Beeing sold in Germany the DVD player has NO problems with the region code on the German DVD. It was simply BROKEN.

Please be a bit more friendly! "case closed" is not an expression for a friendly discussion!!!

  • Possibly. Because I have this DVD player - case closed.

  • You say you have the same model DVD player as the one in this video, is your DVD player branded with the same name as this one? So many of these cheap products are sold in different stores or different countries with different brand names, but they're all the same under the hood.

  • That's true, on some cheap DVD playres such as my cheap Digitor/DSE DVD player I can enter a secret code on the remote to change the regon setting. I assume most locked DVD players will display a regon error when a disc with the wrong regon is inserted, maybe some will just say No Disc, but I don't know how many do that in regon related situations. I suspect the DVD player in this video has a way to change it's regon setting.
