'We are so used to being sick we dont know we are sick'
Very profound statement.
I stopped Dairy and Wheat and feel much better

@HiLitingLife As you have been avoiding wheat/ gluten for a few years, all of your blood tests will now be normal. Only the gene tests will tell you is you have the genetic susceptibility of celiac disease. No point to go back on gluten and make yourself sick for an “official diagnosis”. It could takes months or years on gluten before the blood tests show up sufficient damage to make a diagnosis. Thanks Dr Rodney Ford.

Daughter started vomiting at 6 weeks old (on ave 8 x's/mo) (Breastfed 2.5 yrs), had acute high fevers (ave 14 x's/mo), both continued for 2.5 yrs. Ruled out a lot, but never tested 4 allergies. I suspected the cow protein, not just lactose intolerant. Read labels, avoided all diary. No vomiting/fevers for 6 mos. All of a sudden vomiting came back (2 x's/mo) but not fevers. Diagnosed her with period fever, but need to go back as fevers disappeared. Going to have them test her. thank you so much.

@DrRodneyFord Thanks for the reply. I agree. For me it means I am not depressed, anxious, unsteady on my feet to name just the most concerning symptoms. I was also unable to focus on my work, I was confused and had the feeling I was going to have a seizure. I've never had a seizure and had no idea I had an aunt who did (until recently). I am not hypochondriacal, though sometimes I sound as though I am. That too is the G. Since starting the diet my gut has worsened. I suspect that will improve.

I have all of these symptoms. Also, was getting Tinitus and had trouble spelling. Definitely leaky gut is part of what happens. I have been gluten free for 3 weeks, had one accident one week. The depression/anxiety is getting better, still a bit wobbly when constipated. Constipation and big D is getting worse, but I know if I stick to the task I WILL GET BETTER. I just hope I haven't done any permanent damage. I have had these symptoms on and off for 30 years! This problem caused me to get TB

12 years ago which was in my bones. My mother died aged 49 of Primary Biliary Cirrhosis, her sister died at a similar age after an Epileptic seizure. I didn't figure all this out until recently, I just wanted to be normal. I love baking and eating bread, I love beer! I can never have them again, but that's ok. I just want to love and be loved like I should. And the only way that can happen is if I stop eating gluten! The symptoms are so wide and varied, this disease is the cause of so much pain!

@ShaggyDo1971 thanks - hope that gluten free will help - yes gluten does cause a lot of problems - but a gluten free diet is not the answer to all health problems. RF
