Sorry about the quality... we just taped this off the TV. This is the local news coverage of the tornado touchdown in the heights in Billings, MT on 6-20-2010. Both the sky-cam vid showing the funnel, and also some close-up sent in by a viewer, and some amazing stills. This was WAY too close to home.... 2.5 miles away from here! Hope everyone stayed out of harm's way through this.

    Far eastern Montana gets a few tornadoes a year, but they are always well east of Billings, so this was quite a shock.

    But wow this is some crazy stuff. i had never thought montana could have tornados,but i guss i am wrong.Wow least nobody got hurt,thats the main thing.

  • Sounds like the birds are a bit wound up about the weather, too. Dolly likes rain but always jumps when it lightnings! Dolly is a WBC.
