looks like arb, but which model(there are several for defender).
i would like to buy one for my Defy

@RuslanTD5 Low range in 2nd? They always tell me that is the way yo go for maximum torque?
Cool video btw

I found out how to get Defenders (including diesel models that get x2 the fuel economy) available in America!!! Step 1: Register to vote. Step 2: Vote for Ron Paul who would then deregulate the market, thereby getting rid of regulation requirements on airbags. Step 3: Once he deregulated the markets, go on down to your local Land Rover dealership and say, "I'd like to buy a Defender please."

it would be funny if it floored itself and left him in a cloud of smoke

Do these have a hand controlled idle up?
-
isnt that the idea of an Auto? it shouldnt stall
-
got a quesstion for you i can only drive automatics is there any landrovers that has anti stall with a auto box? or does this just work if you put it in 1st low in auto or/and manuel?
-
blimey didnt know they could do that

@1991Timmo : Thanks for your very kind way of saying to me that it is embarrassing to you not to be able to anti-stall this little pitch only by your foot on the accelerator.

@sagichdirnich2 fuck up idiot, cant u c how well its designed? it would do a whole lot better than any of todays 4x4s,
Have a look at my video response, my TD5 stalls!
Or is this not what the anti stall is supposed to avoid?

@cty90 Hi,
ECU automatically adds fueling (accelerates), if acc.pedal potentiometer resistance stays unchanged. Another word, if you rest your foot on the accelerator pedal, anti-stall stops working. On your video I can hear human's assistance on accelerating.
Torque is another factor here. Low range 1st is the best friend to Anti-Stall. The speed you move is more like 1st high.
