  • What about the Angry Video Game Nerd? Will that happend too? I hope not.

  • @Explorer561 any footage and that includes him too unfortunally..that guy has busted his ass for years and its in danger of being taken away

  • What about games footage from discontinued systems? What law are we breaking showing gaming footage from a home computer you can no longer buy new.

  • @kedeuger yea thats the question i have as well,i hope this bill does not pass

  • I like to watch gameplay videos of newer games on youtube before I buy them to see what the game looks like. That's me I like to see samples before I buy, I've bought many newer games this way. If this bill passes, the video game industry will see a dip in sales.

  • @narox oh its gonna hurt sales big time..it may get to the point where you have to go back to the old magazines and look up reviews which could be quite costly

  • I can see some game companies hurting from game footage, if their game sucks. Game footage on the game-boxes is easy to select so it looks cool - but gaming footage from users doesn't lie. To me it lowers the consumers opportunity to gather info on the content of what they are going to buy and little else. I can understand non-released beta game footage, but the rest seems idiotic - only companies who make crappy games lose. ( I can understand the law, but still ... doh!). Nice video Vipor.

  • I think piracy has been around since BEFORE Jack Sparrow made an entrance. J/K, I agree with you, this bill is junk, I signed and am sending a letter tomorrow in snail mail, too.

  • I do not think embedding is piracy or in need of jail time...by embedding vids on say facebook it is giving the artist more views

  • @ps3moonlight Wont need to. It's an American law, they cant do fuck all to us even if they wanted to.

  • Some very good points there bro, especially liked your last points here, very well put man, very well put.

  • I agree with u on all of this put that money on real problems and not this shit. This is a stupid bill some of it makes sense but the gaming parts dont. Great vid

  • This is just the last part of a crusade to make everyone a criminal of some type so they don't have to be bothered with that nasty Constitution and Bill of Rights thing that gets in their way. These laws are written by the entertainment industry and rubber stamped by our congress critters. I bet 90% of the politicians never bother to read these bills.

I have contacted both of my senators.

  • agree completely. :( These game companies make huge amounts of money and get away with releasing half finished broken games/false advertising yet they get away with it. I don't see any laws being made to protect us. Why is it always laws being passed that screw over the decent people? What a bunch of bullocks. I know for one I wont be buying from any publishers unless they give people free rights to record gameplay footage. Even if the games are good. Yes I'm pointing at you Rockstar Games
