I have searched out a lot of these desktop iomega drives and most of the ones I've seen that match my computer's harddrive of 1TB only has Windows 7 32-bit compability. I've read on forums that it is the iomega SOFTWARE that has w7 64-bit issues, I don't know if that's exactly true. Does this ultramax work well with w7 64-bit? I'm mostly concerned about system crashes or any unwanted w7 warning msg or errors.

So is it 2tb or 1tb with another 1tb drive backing that one up? I'm a photographer and need to back-up thousands of pictures but this takes huge amounts of space so speed is required which is why I like this having firewire800 but 1tb wont be enough.
