The noise-pop duo Sleigh Bells stopped by Rolling Stone this week before a pair of sold-out shows in New York City to chat about their second album, which they've been working on while touring for their debut record Treats over the past year. "Emotionally, it's a really heavy record," guitarist and producer Derek E. Miller says of the new tunes. "Even the early demos that we have now, a lot of the stuff that Derek has recorded, sounds more immense to me," says singer Alexis Krauss. "It sounds really huge, so there's going to still be tons of volume."

  • What shirt is he wearing???????????

  • love 'em !

  • @vampyrian There's less energy though (Not enough 'headbang' factor)

  • They must come to the Philippines!

  • omg maaaaarrrrrry me alexis

  • @vampyrian Oh my god YES, Demons is the best song on the entire fucking album (excuse my French).

  • @TheMJfan2010 Oh I heard it as well.:) And I like it just fine, despite the shift in production. A definite purchase. DEMONS!

  • @vampyrian I already heard the album, it's like "Treats" but a lot cleaner, when I say cleaner I don't mean like less explicit. Every song on the album still has that classic Sleigh Bells drop except for the last song, D.O.A.. But the album is still very heavy and like they said in the video, "like a punch in the face".

  • wtf?! They toured with CSS?!?!?! I just went from liking to LOVING these guys

  • Pretty psyched about this album. Kinda wary of the sound though, I loved the brutal 'clipping' sound of their first album. Definitely don't want to see that go away.:S
