I also have a Messerschmitt KR 200 Cabriolet from 1959 in fine driving condition, it was the same Messerschmitt as Øv og Bøv ( Jarl Friis Mikkelsen og Ole Steffensen) was driving, 2 Danish actors in there film.
Maybe you can buy it.
You can also see on my website www.boie.dk
I have uploaded 4 HD-Video, without the cab and with cab and 2 driving. Its the same titel but Part-2,Part-3,Part-4
Here is some fact.
It is a 200 cc Fichtel & Sachs engine KR200 of 1956, which featured revised bodywork and floor-mounted accelerator and clutch. By reversing the electric starter the KR200's engine could be made to run backwards, thus providing four reverse gears and the hair-raising possibility of 60mph going backwards!
This extremely rare Messerschmitt KR200 Cabriolet is one of the most glamorous of all the cabin scooters. The 200cc Fichtel & Sachs engine runs on a raised compression ratio of 6.3:1 , producing 10hp and endowing the sporting KR200 with a maximum speed of 65mph. In creating the KR200 Cabriolet, the bubble effect of the closed car was lessened and a simple elegance created by the frame-less windscreen and scissor-type hood, while the interior featured handsome black upholstery with black piping. The front seat was adjustable and could be tipped up for convenient entry.
I also have a beautiful MG TD from 1954, I am interested in a Morgan el. BSA trike (three wheeler) so if I get it right I would like to sell or swap my Messerschmitt KR 200 1959 and my MG TD 1953 Se link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eM2rsH1b8aY
