The UMass - Lowell Percussion Ensemble perform Music for Pieces of Wood by Steve Reich, arranged for four drumsets. Players left to right: Nick Egersheim, Joe O'Neil, Mark Ragusa, David Gutierrez.
Really cool, lovin it! How about using different sized toms though. If the woodblocks are to be tuned to pitches(as indicated in the score), then why not tune the toms to those pitches or use smaller toms. It would also help differentiate parts, instead of all drums tuned pretty low. I might try this with my ensemble like this! Kudos to the person who thought this up!

Can't say I'm a big fan of your version. I'm pretty sure SR would agree. I like the creativity though.
