Escapist Games Limited today announced they are currently putting the finishing touches to the Xbox360 version of Platypus, the popular claymation side-scrolling shooter.
Due for imminent release on the Xbox Live Indie games channel, Platypus looks set to join an increasingly attractive catalogue of solid, high-quality titles on the service.
Developed originally for the PC by Anthony Flack, Platypus garnered many fans, not to mention various conversions to the iPhone and PSP, as well as a sequel. The secret of its success? Its made entirely out of clay! Yes, each ship and bullet has been lovingly hand-crafted from clay just like Wallace and Gromit and photographed to create a charming and visually unique game.

you can ge alegis wings for free on XBLA, is pretty much the same game but i think its harder

This is one of the better indie games on 360. I have a lot of fun with this one. My 360 name is Architectus.

@matthewdoucette Its the themesong from some crackinggroup or whatever, appeared in the beginning of some amigagames cracked by "crystal".. cheesy lol..

looks fun, the "finishing touch" maybe should include creating your own melody instead of ripping it from some amiga app.

This game is real good, the pace is perfect, its easy to see your enemies, its balanced, and cheap, better than alot of full priced schmups
