Connie Wagner should be worrying about the real issues in jersey instead of E-cigs.
Fortunately for us the ban is only for the use in public and sale of it to those under 19.Correct me if im wrong.Pretty much being treated like real cigarettes.
While this ban is not a desirable result for the E-cig community it does show that we are being recognized and respected as a community.
By them making laws for E-cigs shows they are not going for a total ban.

No they are not going for a total ban but think about what a ban on public use does.
It send a message that electronic imitation cigarettes are a health risk just the same at tobacco cigarettes. Not only is that false but it is a misrepresentation that could potentially cost a lot of lives.

It send a message that we are all OK with having or behavior modified through intimidation and abuse of public health laws.
It devalues the existing smoking bans because those that do not succumb to the strong arm tactics will no longer value the current smoking bans once they realize that electronic imitation cigarettes pose no health risk to the public but are being lumpen in with tobacco cigarettes so maybe everything about tobacco cigarettes is a lie too.

It shuts down brick and mortar business like mall kiosks because they can not demo the product or attract customers.
It reinforces a social stigma and makes other think it is acceptable to make the same demands of vapers as they do of smokers. I smokes outside my own home for years out of respect for my wife. If she believes vaping is equal to smoking i will be not even be able to vape in my own home.
