I heard on a show that Ninjas were thought to be like "human cats" by some people in the old days. Because cats have grace, are stealthy and deadly to smaller animals when hunting, and ninjas do the same, so people have drawn comparisons between the two.

one time a friend of mine was walking around as a shinobi cat and we happened to cross paths with a hidden ninja. and that ninja said " no one will ever know i am picking my nose" and we were like WTF!

Cats were often used as weapons in Japan. In the fourth battle of Kawanakajima, Uesugi Kenshin was able to defeat Takeda by having cats accompany his troops, and by using a special formation, when his troops got tired or wounded he switched them out with the ranks of hungry cats. After this, all provinces had their own dedicated catteries, until MacArthur outlawed them as part of the peace treaty ending World War II.

I wish someone would release a cat simulator where all you do is lay around the house, stalk mice, and fight other cats that intrude on your territory. Also you could work in a virtual
pet aspect where you have to find another cat, graphically mate with it(im talking cat fucking with full next gen graphics), and then raise all your kittens while you defend them from predators.
