@CosmicDamian Youre right he didnt invent the lightbulb. He used to be a patents agent. One day some unknown individuals came in with an idea they wanted patented.. "light bulb". there was some major flaws to it, so edison bought the patent of them, and tweaked it a bit.

@TuxedoRonny No, I'm not kidding you, he didn't invent the lightbulb. (I know that's not what you meant, :)) All I'm saying is I was shocked to find out that a lot of what we were taught in school about him isn't actually true. When I find out how much of what is attributed to him in the popular mind was actually others' doing, (especially Tesla), I feel compelled, by a sense of fairness, to get the word out.
