Bakersfield's Guinness Book of World Records Largest Water Balloon Fight #3

Video #3 THE FIGHT BEGINS! I think they said there was a little over 2,200 people and they did not beat the record. They were hoping for 5,000 to attend. One of the organizers told me it cost them about $15,000 to put it on and they were hoping to bring in $22,000 which would have given the booster club $7,000. The lady that helped the kids put it on told me they think they might of just broke even, but this is their first year and next year it should be bigger.

haha i was one of the kids that hosted this! i was in the middle handing out ballons! they started early! and old fat 40 yr old guys kept coming in the tape and taking balloons! but it was fun! :)

I was very disappointed that Bakersfield couldn't come out on a great weather day to help a WONDERFUL, AWESOME group of kids set a record and help fund a dying program. Music is needed in everyone life. I sure hope next year everyone can come out and help

I was right in the middle handing out the balloons....it was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life lol....those people wanted their balloons :) but the best part was after when the band had our own fight with the extra water balloons. haha
