Javanese gamelan music is such a harmonious and rich team-based music. We cannot play solo - every music part must be performed as a team musical product. Every part has its own function & role.

I love Javanese gamelan music, it sounds like...magic. I remember the first time I heard this type of music live in person and I felt like I was transported and carried into another world.

@miradoraasmara Where do you live now? I am from Solo, an hour drive from Jogya to the east, bjut I live in the USA now. But I still speak Javanese fluently, in the ngoko, kromo and kromo inggil level of speech.

Javanese music reminds me of my dead Grandpa.. would love to visit his village Desa Ngentak Paliyan, back in Yogya! Not too sure if that's the correct spelling! I am unfortunately, one of those Javanese raise abroad.. I know a lil bit of Javanese language!
