  • AGREEING...when you have a bond with a horse like this its amazing...after a win and you take you lap and you ask more of him and he pricks his ears and digs down deep...its the most amazing ride!!! and he loves it too.

  • People need to understand that not all these horse are sored also if the judges didn't judge on massive lick horses, trainers and owners wouldn't be tempted to hurt their horse to get the judge to look at it.

I do not condone the act but when in a competition, do we as human beings not try everything to get the upper edge because we are taught that is what judges look for? ie. steroids?

  • Maybe your horse was not one of the 5% of TWH whose good enough to have pads on them.

  • Beautiful....Nice movers! And people who are bashing.. Shut up... Unless you've shown these animals please.... If you don't have something noce to say don't say it.

  • holy cow, those horses looked so uncomfortable cantering on those elongated shoes..owwie, they may 'help' with the flat or running walk but any other gait and it unbalances them completely.

  • People that own a horse do have a right to say what they think. I own a pleasure Tennessee Walking horse which has no pads. I think that people will do whatever they want with there horse. I know that they are sored because I put just the regular chains on my horse without pads or chemicals on it and it does not move like a so called "Big Lick" horse. I think that people do what they want and I cannot stop it. However if my horse dosnt move like that then what are you doing that I'm not.

  • unless you know a lot about this breed, you have no right sayin things about soring...something you dont know noyhing about...my daddys a trainer and i have been into these a LONG time.you cant judge a breed or its trainers by one video.these are wonderful athletes.

  • If you dont own or ride a padded horse...you have no right to comment...Im a owner and trainer of 47 of these beauties... They arent sored or presured to do anything. Its people like you causing our industry to be critasized.

  • Riding a padded TWH is a ride like no other. Much smoother than a trot. To the ones bashing this remarkable breed and these magnificent show horses, unless you've been in a barn and around a show, your opinion is uneducated and useless. So just don't comment.

  • What the "appeal" of this?

    Riders look creepy.

  • Uh, yeah.....but that is THEIR choice. The animals don't get a say-so!
