  • @flynmid Yep, stock aero is terrible. That's why most of the serious track cars (and the '00 Cobra R) use giant wings. You have to get pretty high up to get into clean air.

  • It's a test to get an idea what the air is doing over the rear window and trunk at speed. Basically, all the little tufts just move in whatever direction the wind blows them. If you'll notice, many of the tufts on the back window and trunk are not being blown toward the back of the car. In fact, some of the tufts on the window are being blown back toward the FRONT. My goals with this test include testing the effects of Vortex Generators and to eventually make a lip spoiler work efficiently.
