From their 1994 album Vitalogy. My favorite song by them. Covered by Seether on their live album.

  • To all that are watching this: shut up about nirvana. it's bad enough that people born in 1996 can't get over his death, we don't need people bickering about this. honestly, at the end of the day, what will it matter. This song will still exist and cobain will still be DEAD. Argue about the origins of life, what really matters in this world, about family, relations, war, crime, disease, abortion, etc. You look like a bunch of chodes biting at eachothers necks over a Pearl Jam song's meaning.

  • Elephants are the only animals I know of that kill human beings out of spite and/or revenge.

  • longing to hit the open road on a mission to see the world, the whole bloody the thing. no time frame, nobody telling me its not possible, time to grow up etc... the way i see it, im wasting what time i've been give. This song would be my soundtrack to the adventure. Immortality.

  • def. elephants

  • Elephants by far, they don't spit at people for no apparant reason. But I have to say I do respect that fuck you attitude that camels have about them.

  • Too all these stupid posts: It's cool if you're young and appreciate this music, but if you weren't of age when this shit came out, you missed out, you just ca't understand. Just like how i like Led Zep or Hendrix, but I can't fully grasp the atmosphere of the 60s and 70s.

  • I also like "I Am Mine"

  • Now people talk smack about when someone was born. Not sure if it was about Cobain, who's music I loved, but I don't care who it was written about. Not that it really matters but, I have children born before 1996. It's a good song, that's it.

  • this song is like a love letter in the sand drawn for a loved one who passed away.... how beautiful are the words and music here---it seems that they don't make music this good anymore....

  • 15 people think that they will live forever...

  • i've never related to a song more in my life.
