  • how the hell do you get a licence to operate these aircraft?

  • This one is from the begian air force, so you need to enter the air force to fly it, unfortunately we don't have Fouga's anymore since they were too old...

  • ohrite, what i cant understand is,,, the irish airforce used to have jets.. now we have taken a stpe back to rotory aircraft.. i have to admit im dissappointed

  • It's weird.. I knew about your Pilatus PC-9 but i thought you had jets too :s

    Are your Fouga's still flying?

  • to Renar380;)

    yep i know

but i posted this message before his "last flight"

i feel really sorry for paul rorive because he couldn't make his last flight.

i really gonna miss his fantastic shows, his low take-off's and the sound of the fouga :(

respect to the fouga and paul rorive.

    grtz

  • ok, sorry abut that. Fortunately, Paul Rorive could fly it in the morning for the show repetition, before the compressor gave up. I like to think that it was his farwell, alone with the plane he liked so much.

  • you can still get it in france,i believe.

  • i love the fouga magister

  • we did have fougas.. but it was becuse of teh tiem they had in the air they had to be decomissioned.. becuse they were used for airobatics, not military purposes though they were in teh fleet of teh irish ir corps..but now we only have rotory aircraft including helicopters

  • actualy it IS the last one, because it couldn't take off for the farewell after a compressor failure just before take-off...
