Guitar: Alouette (Including lyrics and chords)

Having recorded in French yesterday, it brought to mind another childhood song, this one French/Canadian that we attempted to sing when at school. To be honest, we only sang the first couple of verses and did not understand what they said anyway. I am sure my pronunciation will be very suspect in places, so please make allowances for that.

It seems that like the children in the Isle of Man with 'Hunt the Wren' and those in Ireland with 'The Wren Song', the French/Canadian children were also bloodthirsty 'little terrors' who sang about dismembering a poor little skylark in this way.
