DUDE IT'S RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. JUST LEARN IT!!! Seriously, don't be so dependant on tabs. You're not gonna get to use them when you're on the spot. Just watch and learn.

that guitar is sweet

It's just trial and error man. I mean I'm not gonna act like I can play any just listening to it once or anything. I'm not that cocky or arrogant. I'm just offering you some advice man, it's always good practice to try things by ear. If they're hard as hell its even better practice.
And age has nothing to do with music. You can learn very well without lessons too.

well, i'm really good at listening to songs and finding what key they're in but its harder for me to completly mimic the guitar riff by ear. i'm only 16. i need to take some more guitar lessons. and just for the record, i eventually learned how to play this song shotgun.

As am I man, but you really should try to develop the ear.

i know dude. i only use tabs for songs i really like. i like playing my own stuff a lot. and besides, i'm more of an improvasational (however you spell it) player.

These videos are awesome! For the record if anyone out there guitar in Raised-B Tuning for Stay Or Leave, You Never Know, Oh, Sister, ect. You can capo on the 3rd fret so you have more room to work with.

could you do one for tripping billies? i've seen conflicting instructional videos on the verse. and on the bridge/chorus, are the A and D strings both muted, or just the A?

um for tripping billies the A string is muted while the D string drones throughout. There are some good versions of it already on youtube. But if you really want it let me know :-)
